Source for .360 146 Grain Bullets ?

As a last resort try some 148 gn .357 HBWC which will expand to fit the .360 bore. They are superb in my Victory model.
An Australian outfit, I think the name was Taipai, USED to make them, maybe still do. I do like KiwiCop above, used a soft hollow-base bullet and the base should open enough to do the job, like a Minie Ball from the civil war.

Jimmy, look at the Penn bullets line, they have a 140 gr with an optional .360 diameter. that they recommend for the 38 SW.
Jimmy . I just ordered 500 from Rim Rock Bullet. They are 125 grain sized 360 or 361 for 38 s&w. They have not yet arrived.
500 is way more than I need.

Thats what I currently am using. I have some Missouri Bullets that have been resized kept back as a back-up. I went with Penn when MB stopped offering them. Dont know what they are doing now. Penn will, or did pretty much coast them any color you wish. Dont know what they might be doing now with all the crunches on now.

I lucked into several very old 'new old stock' boxes of Remington .360dia lead round nose several years ago. No idea if more are available.
Best bet would be buying a mold.

They did have a modern version, but now?? Who knows. I am just too old to start casting, although I have entertained the thought. Seems anything firearm related has gone through the roof and I refuse to pay these inflated price goughing prices. Just the other day I saw 9mm for $57.00 a box @50. Are you kidding me??
Last price for the Remingtion I saw was $33.00 a box @50. --

I use Speer 158gr .358 LRN bullets in all my .38 S&W and they work just fine.

I loaded some 148 grain lead W/C HB bullets in .38 S&W cases. In order for the loads to fit the chambers of a small 1917 manufacture Colt Police Positive Revolver the bullets have to be seated deep and it looks that this load with a small charge of Bullseye is a compressed charge. Is this dangerous ?

No . If you are loading the 148 grain lead WC (wadcutter) and if HB stands for Hollow Base ... you can't compress the charge enough ...unless you are crushing the bullet base when seating ...To make it a "dangerous" load .
I use 2.3 grains of Bullseye under the 148 HBWC and shoot them in my Dad's Colt Police Positive 38 S&W revolver with no ill effects .

At the range I started at 3 yards, off hand. Using the 148 grain lwc with 2.8 grains Bullseye.
first shot-nice round hole in B-29 target.
second shot- nice round hole in target B-29 target
attempted third shot, but cylinder would not turn ?
Examination: forcing cone split in three places !
appears part of the bullet from shot #2 still in barrel.

Sorry about your luck. I just ordered from Penn Bullets, 140gr. @ .360. You might not need them anymore.
