Recently substituted a Black Nitride treated 4" top end on my 3913:

I wouldn't go as far as milling parts off, but I've always hated double sided safeties and see no purpose for them. I hate them on my M&P's and would love a single sided version. With all the other after market nonsense out there, I can't believe they're not available. I'd replace the double sided with single sided on every gun I own if I could.
