3913TSW magazine

As I noted in my first post I just acquired a 3913TSW w/o rail, it has the 7 round magazine and came with only the one, will the later 8 shot mags fit?
And yes or no where is the best source for extra mags? Headed to the range in the morning to run some lead through it for the first time.

Yes - the 8 round or even a 9 round (3904/06/909) will work but they will protrude a bit at the bottom.

Mags

I've had good luck finding mags at both big and little gun shops if you look around a bit. Often they are on in the miscellaneous bin.

I found a rare magazine for a rare S&W on one trip. When I took it up to the counter the owner said, "Hey, that has our old price sticker on it from our old store. We moved from there 8 years ago!" He let me have it for $10

I would suggest if you find a few still in the package for a good price--buy as many as you can because you won't find them often. You can always sell a couple if you have too many.

This place has new and used ones in stock for $35. They are the 7 round mags.

CS9 magazines will fit, but the base plates are different. S&W still lists the baseplate, but they are currently out of stock. I bought a magazine from Climags and found the product and service good.

They do occasionally show up in the classifieds here. Prices have been edging up lately, but they go quickly.
