Looking at S&W Performance Center gunsmithing service. A 3rd generation action job is $165. Has anyone had this service performed. Is it worth the cash? What should I really expect. I did call S&W customer service and the representative was ignorant on the service.

I had the express pkg action job performed on my 3914 NL. Noticeably smoothed the trigger pull. It was worth it to me.

I'm glad this came up .. I have a CS45 that I'd like to have worked on too. Not really worried about the extra money for the express option, but i'd like it smoothed out .. new grips .. and re do the graphics on it. Love the gun .. just want it looking nicer and a little smoother.

I've had it done on a 5906, 5903, and 915 now and I really feel a big improvement in the DA and SA trigger. Since they were all used guns with unknown round count, it was also nice to have the factory swap out the springs.
