4 S&W $

Sorry to hear about the sell but we all get there. I hope the prices are satisfying but I don't have a clue.

Those are beautiful guns, but it may be hard to sell them for what they are valued at. Recently I've tried to sell a S&W and a Colt revolver, both guns are almost as new, and are both older models that collectors prefer. I've had zero interest in either of them. I usually check Arms List daily, and apparently the gun market is really soft right now. I've seen Colts and S&W being advertised at really low prices. Perhaps part of the reason is that we older guys are slowing fading away, and a lot of the younger guys are buying black plastic guns.

Is the top one an M10? From what I can see it looks very good.

Middle one with the 3" barrel, I am guessing an M13? M10? I would be interested in that one.

If I am thinking right about the top one, it has to be $500, maybe more. The middle one, depends on what it is. If an M13, $700 at least.

If they were mine, because of the serial numbers, I would sell all four as a set for no less than $5,000.00. I would love to hear how you collected these unusual serial numbers. Repeat, I would not break this set up. Someone who knows more than I may come along and say they are worth more. I agree with Bubba 24 about the soft market. Still a lot of collectors out there but the numbers diminish daily.

For high condition with boxes (and papers, tools?) you might see prices like:

10-5 $600+
30-1 $700+
34-1 $1000+
36 $500+

But it seems to be a special set of some kind with the matching numbers, so there may be a "story" or some provenance which could add value for some collectors.

Dick, have enjoyed seeing these guns for years on the Forum when you shared pics and spoke of them. Sorry that you are finally selling them.
None of the guns are rare or particularly sought after, but with single digit serial number.... don't let them go for less than 1K each.
I'd think you'd hurt value if you separated them. In an auction setting, you might break 5k for set.
Good luck Sir

I picked up a 30-1 from my LGS today. It was a 2 inch barrel. I paid $385 with no box or accessories. It is probably 90% as it had a turn ring and the wood was faded some. I don't have a smartphone so I can't send you a photo.

Concur! This is a matched set for a serious collector.

If these were mine I would request a Roy Jinks letter. They're more likley than not related to one another and a letter for one would probably link them to each other. I am curious and would love to have all of them.
