How bout a 40 S&W revolver? I want a 5 shooter on a J frame.
I also want some 40AR ammo to shoot in it. You boys who like the moon loaders can just use them.
I arrived at this 'need' after my son brought me a strange 45 case, he also found 2 dropped 40 S &W rounds. I sat the unknown case next to a 45AR case. The unknown appears to be a Brit 455 or 450. I started looking at the 40 rounds also sitting there. I like the 40, I have a 40 Glock.
But small revolver in 40. More bang than the 38 special, less recoil than the 357, smaller gun than the 44 Special. I like it!

"Well pilgrim" (said in my John Wayne voice), you may not have to wait for S&W. I got tired of waiting for a pocket-sized, light weight .40 from S&W so I pick-up the above Charter Arms .40 Pit Bull. So far I have more than 300 rounds through it and no problems shooting everything from 135 gr. thru 180 gr. ammo (bonus feature - this gun does not use moon clips).
I would rather have an S&W action, fit and finish but the C/A will do for now.

WOW! Did not know about this one. Do not obviously follow the Charters.
Just drill a hole in it, I will be good to go!
