Does anyone know where I can buy decent ( and cheap ) .40 bullets? I want to hand load but haven't found a good source yet for the bullets Gaff and sons are good for the powder and primers.

Many of my USPSA/IDPA colleagues use Montana Gold projectiles with GREAT success....I have used many thousands of them. Do a search on them and read what they have to say.

Norm has also given me a tour of the facility and watching the machines in use was fabulous.

You will NOT regret using their product....

Try these guys. I load their 9mm's and have had great luck with them.
40 caliber plated pistol bullets

These are great for getting started.
Also available at Grafs, since you are placing an order with them anyway.

I usually run about 50 of the Berry Plated 180gr through any new 40 I get, then switch to cast from a Lee mold after confirming all works well with the BP. No lube or leading to worry about, with decent accuracy.

I've had good results with the Berry plated bullets as well as Rainier plated bullets for general plinking purposes.
