4003 Price Check

Found a new old stock 4003 still in the box with 2 mags.

I tried looking these up and I can't find much on them.

The asking price is $475

Are these pistols on the hard-to-find / rare side?

There were a fair number of model 4003 pistols sold...

But $475 for ANY N.O.S. S&W 3rd gen is a bargain.
