4006 barrel switch to 5904 nos mint

The barrel of a 40 s&w fit as in can see in a osn 5904 i picked up hard to find them i dont know if the upperm locking lugging are the same ,same hood cover wide Thank you For Your time

It sounds like you're trying to convert a 9mm to .40. For one thing, the .40 magazine has a dimple on the front with a corresponding notch in the .40 frame. The .40 mag cannot be inserted in the 9mm frame. 4006's are cheap right now. Much easier to just buy another gun.
