Thought you guys might like a glimpse at my new High speed camera in action:

The gun is a custom model 629 snubbie in 44 magnum that I sent to the performance center for a C&S Extreme Duty fixed rear sight and the master revolver action package. The ammo is Buffalo Bore 240 grain 44 magnum +P Deer Grenades

What was the camera you used? I am a video engineer by profession
and see quite a number of different cameras. I work for the Badgers.
I have heard of a cool new high speed camera but have yet to see one.
I would love to compare the flash from my ported 4" 629 with
your excellent pix. I bet it's totally different.

I have had a few but this one is by far my favorite:

Muzzle flash

As impressive as that is during the daytime...it would be a real "show stopper" on a night course. In the 80's I carried a M-29 4" with a 200 gr JHP over a healthy dollop of 296 for a while until I learned about Unique.....we had night qual's, and I was on line with a dozen officer's firing 38's and +P's. When I rolled that 44 off....it lit up the entire line in a strobe of light and the muzzle flash & blast was tremendous..the firing line went silent and the RO called "Cease fire!!" cause he thought my gun had blown up.....we started the course at 3 yds and people were joking that I would set the target on fire......anytime anybody has any questions about the pressure from the cylinder gap to the forcing cone......wrap a strip of newspaper around the gun, and fire it....instant confetti....Nice gun, nice camera and nice techniques you have there.

I love night shooting my 44. This video below is in an indoor range owned by a friend. After closing we went in and shut the lights. Check out the flash from some "RUGER ONLY" loads in my Redhawk and the freeze frame from the video. The ammo is Buffalo Bore 340 grain +P+ LFN-GC. The reported velocity from a long tube like my Redhawk is 1,478 fps with a muzzle energy of 1,649 ft. lbs.

That's what I'm talking about

Yes Sir, that's what I am talking about!! That is a very potent ballistic package there.....they have got to have some serious deflection / back stops in that indoor range to let you shoot that load in there.....well done.
