This is a new addition recently picked up from GI. Nothing exceptional but nice condition - probably a little too nice to shoot, all correct/nothing suspicious, and letters properly. The box was added, also a GI purchase, and the serial number of the box (353754) is actually very close to the serial number of the gun (353968). I don’t have the letter hard copy yet but the gun was shipped to A. F. Stoeger Arms Company in NYC on 3/21/1930 in a 1 gun shipment as a .45 Colt, 5-1/2” barrel, blue finish, and grips unlisted. Here’s a few pictures in support of my comments…..

Looks pretty close to exceptional to me in regards to condition. Beautiful gun. I don't think I would shoot that one either. Thanks for showing.
