45 HE Model 1917 Belgian Connection?

On another forum a poster mentioned that he had such a revolver and it sported a Belgian proof mark. He seems to think there were a bunch sent to Belgium in the early part of WW II for the Army guards in the Congo. I have never seen any reference to that nor have I been able to find any mention of such an occurrence.

Has anyone here heard of such?
