Is there any reloading data for a 140 or 159 gr wadcutter in 45 long Colt? Is it seated flush as in a 38spl?

Not knowing which 45 cal. wadcutter you have ... I can't tell you how they are seated . Most of the wadcutters I have seen are not flush seated but have a crimp groove then a short cylinder section sticking out of the case mouth . Can you post a photo or link to the bullets ... this would help .

Load Data : Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook 4th edition has data for a 160 grain round-flat bullet - Lee #452 - 160 - RF .
I would use the starting loads listed ... that will make up for any lessened case capacity by the wadcutter bullet if it is deep seated .
Some wadcutter designs are not intended to be flush seated ... but we have to see what we are talking about before giving too much advice .
Eight different powders are listed in the Lyman Data .

That's a Can Do situation ... all you need is to pick a bullet ...
Matt's Bullets has a nice 165 grain. wadcutter and is the nearest cast bullet I can find ( already cast and lubed) to your 160 gr. weight ... most offerings are much heavier ... so your pickings are slim ...
Take a look see at Matts Bullets and see if they will do / are available .
The starting data in the Lyman #4 will work for this 165 grain cast bullet .
Do you have any powder ... or need suggestions ... powder selections are also ... slim pickins (excuse the bad pun ...the devil made me do it)

My Button Nose WC is 242gr cast. from Lyman-Ideal mold. In pic you can see only the Button protruding past flush. Loaded over
12.0gr Win 630 = approx 750fps. These for my 25-5/ 83/8"

.45 Wadcutters are not a common item. I see Mastercast sells them, but not a lot of others. They are 240s.

Small 159 grain .45 Colt bullets are also not common. If you can find data for 160 grain lead RN or FP boolets, scale down 10% and start there. Data for a RN or WC should be close.
