I have a 4506 and am looking for new grips for it. I found some nice Rosewood finger grips for a 645.....are they interchangable? Will they fit my 4506? I would really like to put wood grips on it to dress it up some and improve the hold. Any help/ideas/advise is appreciated.

The 645 are two piece grips. You need 1 piece grips. Check the Houge website or look at Midway. The wood grips are thicker and will turn your single staff into a double stack feel.

The Hogue grips do look good. I'm tempted to slap a set on a newly acquired 4506-1. I'm having trouble getting a stock grip anyway.

I have a set on checkered wood Hogue's on my 4566, they don't feel as bulky as the rubber ones... looking at the profile from the front of the gun they look flatter.

It could be nothing more than the difference in material where the wood is less grabby/sticky than the synthetic stuff, but I sure like them.
