4567 relamped, thanks Trijicon!

My slide was just delivered from being relamped at Trijicon, just a little over two weeks from when I was notified they'd do the work to my front door, can't complain at all about that! I also got a new grip from MidWest Gun Works.
Here are some quickie cell pics.

**And yup as Jeppo pointed out the lamps have a new 12 year warranty-not sure I'll be able to take advantage of that LOL.**

Not only are they quick and inexpensive, they also give you a new warranty.

While they're sights might cost a little more initially, the ability to get them relamped inexpensively is a huge plus. they also have excellent customer service if it's ever needed. There is a reason they have been around such a long time.

This beats buying new sights. I did the same thing on a 1911 I have last summer. Trijicon does a fantastic job.

Done the same on 3 of my 3rd gen guns. Yours look brighter than mine. The date stamped on them wipes off pretty easily so keep your receipt showing when they were re-lamped.

Thanks, I'm pretty anal about holding on to any paperwork (purchase receipts, work, parts added/replaced) related to my firearms, have a folder with dividers for each one lol.

I want to add that even though a few months ago I was bidding on a nib version that belonged to a past friend of mine I feel quite content with this pistol. The weird thing is that both owners were one time partners on the same police dept.

Both had dead night sights. The other went for over $1200 (had the original box and accessories) at auction so with shipping, taxes, fees and redoing the sights it'd be over $1300. This one even with the relamped sights and new grip is right at $700.

I'm thrilled my friend's widow got the price she did and I'm thrilled my friend that had this one was more than happy to sell it to me for a great price.

Haven't been able to hit the range this weekend but I'll fix that next weekend!
