45c how'd I do?

Came across a 45c in the used case of the LGS yesterday. LNIB with three mags, all the papers, and S&W night sights. Standard (not CA or MA) trigger, no internal lock, no thumb safety, but with mag safety. Manufactured Feb 2010. Price was 450--Had been looking for awhile so I took it. Okay deal? Wonder if the store was clearing out a floor model.... Really looking forward to shooting it!

Dont second guess yourself, it is a great find! At least .45 ammo is easy to find right now.

Just finding a 45c is hard enough! I didn't even see if they had any wiggle room on the price (my FFL takes care of me). I just said "hand me the paperwork." You did very well.

Got my 45c a few months ago and liked it but didn't care for the trigger. 7 1/2 lb pull and less than smooth.

Got a hard sear and a striker pin from Apex Tactical and had a local gunsmith install. Total cost about 120 bucks but I now "love" this gun. Trigger is now 4 lbs and feels great.

It's my EDC in the Winter.

BTW, I paid 489 new plus tax, only 2 mags.

That's an excellent price! The LE price with night sights is $499 and they come with two mags.

I like that blind squirrel thing... I need to use it more because I often feel that way when something fortuitous happens to me.

I love my 45c and I'm sure you'll love yours too. It's just the right size (mama bear's porridge?) for my hands and is a sweet soft shooting thing. I carry it a lot and prefer it shooting to the shield. The shield is just so damn easy to conceal though that it generally wins in that mental debate.

I think it's my favorite of all my guns*.
