i was thinking about getting a 460 as a new hunting revolver since i can use 45lc 454 and 460 and was between the 5 inch and 8 inch but are they not making the 5 inch anymore. anyway who has a 460 and how do you like it ive shot a 500 but havent got a chance at the 460 yet. thanks for any input

I have a 460 with the 8+ inch barrel and like it a lot. I am not a reloader (yet!), and I particularly like the gun's versatility in terms of the different rounds it will chamber. I also have a four-inch 500, and I like that one too. But I seem to appreciate the 460 a little more than I do the larger-bore revolver, so I applaud your choice.
