5" M&P357

I'd like to see a M&P357 auto with the 5" barrel/slide from the M&P9L. Longer sight radius, slightly higher velocity from the 357SIG round. And Novak adjustable sights to make the most of them. They could call the new gun a "Highway Patrolman".

When the M&P 40 pro with 5" barrel hits the streets, I expect the aftermarket barrel makers to have a 357 pretty quickly. Just drop it in and go...

I second your request. Several years ago I owned a Glock 35 with a KKM 357 SIG barrel in it. ProLoad 125 gr ammo clocked an average of 1570 fps over a chonograph out of that 5.3" barrel. Very accurate and reliable too. But it was still a Glock, with the ergonomics of a brick. An M&P 5 inch would be SO much better.
