Hi and Happy Memorial day weekend to all.
I was getting .511 RNFP bullets from Montana Bullet Works, but sadly they're closing their doors. The gun is a Redhawk chambered in .50 Bowen Special (essentially a shortened .500 Linbaugh).
I've searched everywhere and only .501 bullets are available for the S&W .500.
Does anyone know where I might find 50 cal 350 gr bullets sized to .511?
Thanks and God bless.

I never got into casting. I'm too old, lazy and stupid to start now.
Thanks for the idea though.

Sorry to high jack your thread.

It amazes me how frequently that “cast your own” is interjected into so many threads.

Like yourself, I’m not going to do it. Don’t even want to hear about it.

Between the time I spend shooting, reloading, gun cleaning, gun shows, gun shops, gun discussion boards….

I don’t have time or interest to add another time consuming element. I do have other interests and there isn’t that much time left on my clock to spend over a hot pot of lead.

If you enjoy it. Fine have at it. If one of my guns can’t be made to perform with commercially available bullets, time to sell it.

Thanks! I feel better now.

Yeah, I checked Matt's. The Bowen is happiest with a 350gr bullet.
I'm starting to worry as this is one of my favorite revolvers and no one seems to make the appropriate bullet anymore.
