Kavinsky ~ Its not actually a 4 revolver case but you could fit four or even five revolvers in there. I believe it may be a case for a shotgun after its broken down into segments. If I'm not mistaking, they sale them for around $50 or $60. I paid zippo and couldn't turn that down!!

I then told him they had a box of ammo on the shelf listed at $67 with one round stolen out of it. He agreed to sell it to me as "damaged" for $40.

I'm curious about the "one round stolen" out of a box of ammo. I have a friend who is part owner of a big local sporting goods store, and I remember having a conversation with him years ago where he told me that it is a very frequent occurrence for people to steal one round out of a box. What is up with that? Are cartridge collectors a bunch of thieves? I simply do not get it, why anyone would ruin a salable box of ammo by stealing one round.

I would think its a big problem with any store that keeps their ammo out in the open. This particular store is now starting to put their more expensive ammo behind the counter where customers can't handle it. I noticed that Wal-Mart now has all their ammo locked up so you have to ask someone with a key to get it out. Its regretable that some people have to steal but I guess the temptation is really high when its so expensive. Find a few stores that have it out in the open, steal one or two here and there, and you soon have a whole box. Its a sad world we live in!
