Picked up my 27-2 and 25-2 today. I had ramp sights put on both.
Also shot my 53 with the 22 LR cylinder. A pleasure.
22’s, 38’s, 45 ACP, 357 mag.
Indoor range breathing in all that poison! Fun nevertheless.
My favorite range I have visited so far is just a few miles north of Kanab UT on 89 N.
Free public range and stunning surrounds.
I’ll get back there some day.
Couple of pics of that range from Google earth.
Shooting a SW in the middle of the desert is so very American!
I loved it. Felt like John Wayne. Hahaha

SW pics shortly…

I drive past that range maybe twice a month or so while heading down to Kanab! I always glance, trying to see if anyone is out shooting!

Kanab was once known as "Little Hollywood" because of the number of movies, mostly westerns, that used Kanab as a base camp while filming from the 1930s through the 1970s. So when you're at that range, you're literally following in the footsteps of many of the iconic stars of Hollywood westerns.

If you're interested in Hollywood movie history, the next time you pass through Kanab, stop in at the Little Hollywood Museum (and gift shop). Admission is free. They've preserved remnants of several movie sets from various productions.
