I bought my 640-5 from a cop gun trade in and it is a beauty for little bucks. The gun looks dang near new. Yep those cop trade in sales are a good source for good guns at often bargain prices.

Bud's Gunshop in Tenn and maybe Kentucky has a bunch of used French S&Ws. They appear to be about half the normal asking price. I have not had a good experience there, but maybe you will.

Bear in mind that the shoulder holster was made for the Victory Model. Your guns all have the heavy barrel, so a tight fit could be expected.

The holster does seem well made, with nice stitching.

It looks like the 10-8 has the serial etched above the cylinder on the top strap as well, so I'm guessing LE or importer add-on.

Usually police guns show more external wear than internal wear. They get lots of holster time, but very little firing time. I'd bet the average guy shoots his S&W more than most policemen ever shot theirs.

i have bought one an ppk manurhin in 32acp same condition
marks of wear ,shooting very few
often is an gunshop of the city who sell the gun and the ammo and take the arms when changing and resell in their shop
