Thanks to forum member suchon57 who hails from Thailand, we have a picture of a 5904TSW which he owns. Note that the Model number says just "5904" but the features of the gun clearly make it a TSW.

Can't see the photo, just a red X. Is that my computer or is it not loaded correctly? I would love to see it.

Nice..Never saw one of those before.

TSW = Tactical Smith & Wesson or Team Smith & Wesson

Ted,
Can you read the serial number in the pic? With a good s/n, customer service can track to a product code. With that, they can look into the system to see who these shipped to and when, it's possible that some were shipped to a US distributor.

I have been check year mannufacturig of my gun mod5904TSW BDK2688 from Smith-Wesson officer after I bought from gun shop in Thailand on April 2008 Smith-Wesson they infrom it manufacturing On January ,2008
on beside gun box it have print sticker model printing Mod5904TSW

That's a great looking gun. Isn't it funny how badly we want things we don't normally have access to. Now if it had a 5" barrel I would wet my pants.

Have any member have Mod 5904 post picture show me thank you very much I never seen in Thailand

Many peple in Thailand talk about frame of M5904 easy to crack and all smith-wesson alloy frame not to strong How thing about of this comment

Don't let them manipulate you Suchon.

I currently own several aluminum frame S&W pistols.

If I can get my hands on a 3.75" 945, I will own one more.

About the only thing I have ever heard about an alumimum is that the longevity isn't as good as a steel frame.

Years ago, I talked to a guy that told me the expected life of an alumimum frame gun was 40000 rounds VS. 70000 rounds for a steel framed gun.

I am not sure if the guy is correct or not but those are both giant numbers.

Sweet pistol. I wish they would make nice pistols like that for sale here. Regards 18DAI.

I have over 25,000 rounds through my 3913TSW with no appreciable wear. The only issue is that the anodizing is wearing through at the index points so I'm going to have it refinished by S&W.

I was at the S&W factory a few days ago and they were making bins full of aluminum frames - saw 3913LS, 3913TSW, etc. They're no longer in the catalog, but are definitely in production.

That's a great find!

Does the label on the box have a Product Code listed? It should be 6 digits, like 1-----.

Hey Suchon57! I was recently in Thailand for 2 weeks (my wife is a Thai)and have considered moving there. I was under the impression that gun ownership by civilians was not legal in Thailand.
I'd like to ask you some questions about this. Please email me: [email protected]
