Yesterday I tried it out for the first time. The gun club I am a member of, does not allow silhouette targets. I typically load 5 rounds per magazine, fire, re-acquire sight picture and fire again. Shooting it took some getting used to, with the rear sight having the protective bracket in view. I was standing with a two-hand hold. I am right-handed but left eye dominant. I shoot with both eyes open. Targets used were placed at the 7-yard line. Weather was partly cloudy, breezy, and low to mid 50 degrees. Ammunition was Remington UMC 115gr FMJ. I fired one full box. All my shots were on paper. It was also accompanied with my 5903, 65-3 3", and 18-3.
The 5903 was fire the same as the 5905 sequences. The 65-3 was fired at a steel tree at 10 yards. My hit ratio was probably 75%. The 18-3 was fired at 25-yard steel plates hanging. Two 6", two 4", and one 3" diameter sizes. Hit ratio there was about 50%. All guns shot 50 rounds each. Target on left is 5905, target on right is 5903. 5903 has Hogue rubber grips.
