How about $34 a thousand? I used to stop and get a couple of these on the way to my uncles house to shoot at his backyard range back in the eighties, found this one buried under some 38 special ammo in one of my cans a couple weeks ago, and yes, I shot it all up right after I found it....those were the days....

Funny thing is I only use my .17 HMR for squirrel hunting. I have several boxes from back when it first debuted to current. Each year i bought 1 box of 50 Speer TNT's. Each year it went up $1 till current. it's like my ammo timeline
