Hey I got a new 610-3 for christmas and i have noticed that the chambers are kinda sloppy. There is an obvious bulge that is a few mm below the extractor star. With the aid of a light you can also see light tooling marks from where the chambers were cut/reamed. The bulge corresponds with these marks. My used brass also shows this bulge near the casehead. The bulge is only a third the circumference of the case. It is also in the same place on every chamber.
Is this normal, I am kinda dissappointed since i bought the 610 based on everyone telling me that the tolerances were held tight on this revolver.

Call S&W and tell them of your findings. They should provide you with instructions for shiping to the factory and repairing.

Hey, I am trying to find out if anyone has had a similar problem Like mine, and how it has effected the guns performance? ANYBODY?

I have a 610 and it does not display any of the issues that you have explained.
It is well made and a great shooter.
I would definitely return it to the factory.

My 610 is perfect and a charm to shoot. A gun with chamber such as you described should be sent back to the factory for cylinder replacement.
