I recently acquired a 624 no dash 3" the previous owner claims is a Lew Horton. The serial number is ALU5651. Any ideas?

The 4th edition SCSW says:
"AHT and ALW known serial prefixes..." pg.302

My 624 no dash 3" is s/n ALU61xx and a call to Lew Horton after I got it about 4 years ago confirmed mine was NOT one of theirs.

I recently sold ALU00xx which was confirmed as theirs. Unfortunately it'll be tougher to confirm as Lew Horton has closed up shop.
Because there are reasonably large numbers of both LH and non 624 3" guns (thousands), there's not a lot of sales juice. Given the choice between two identical guns for the same price, I would take the LH, but even $50 more and I'm getting the non-LH gun. At the end of the day it's an identical .44Spl bullet launcher.
