My son has a 625-7 Lew Horton pistol. It has a 3" barrel and is a .45 colt. Condition is excellent but no paperwork or anything. I see values all over the place and was wondering what you all think the current value is for this pistol? Thanks in advance.

A quick look at Gun Broker with search parameter of 625-7 reveals to following successfully closed auctions (i.e. actually sold):
$2499 - LNIB (like new in box) with all documents, tools, etc.
$2000 - Excellent original condition in original box.
$1775 - Excellent original condition with excellent DeSantis holster (no box).

The stocks/grips on the revolver in your picture are different (non-original?) than what the revolvers on Gun Broker show.

Yes, they are replacements. It did not have the original ones when I got it.

There was a few just sitting on gb like new in box for 2000 before someone bought them after a few weeks and seen a loose one bring 1600 or 1700

Update!

Just sold one LNIB yesterday at The Northeast Ohio "Bunch" for $2500...on a good day it should have brought $3000, but I think the "market" has softened a bit...Hope this helps you...Roger

Just seen another pratically new in box just bring 1900 on gunbroker last week. They have definitely took a price drop.
