Hi, I have a 627 Pro on it's way to me and I'm looking for a competition holster for it. I see on speed beez they have a speed rig for the 5" and I like it but for the 4" its not available. The 4" has a blade-tech speed rig that's eh and a speed beez one but it's a full holster, not cut for a fast draw. I've searched and that's all I'm really finding. I plan to run it in steel challenge and some uspsa matches. I really like the speed beez and was thinking of getting it then dremeling it but I'd probably butcher it. Is that it for the 4" N frame?

So your saying you use the comp tac 5" N frame USPSA for a 4" N frame? It works, it holds the 4" secure, because there's no 4" N frame USPSA option?

I make an adapter that fits on a Hogue Power Speed holster that works for any 4" through 8-3/8 revolver. It takes a few seconds to reset it to a different length. One holster for all competition revos. You can check it out at Brian Enos forums.

I saw a holster like that GR but the guy was using it with a Glock. It sure was easy for him to draw and put back in. I wish I could remember the name of it. $200 for the GR is a bit pricey I think but that's just my cheapo opinion.

Yeah I'm just trying out the revolver division, my budget is definitely not 200. My main play divisions are production and pcc so I'm not going all in in revolver just yet, I like the price of the Beez/com-tac, really the same holster, and if the 4" fits secure in the 5" holster I'd like to try that. Or get the one made for 4" and maybe mod it myself.
