627 Pro

I've got a new 627 Pro on the way. This is my first smith and not sure what I need to check over before taking it to the range.

Cyclinder gap .004~.008" ?

Anything else or any other tips?

I didn't check anything when I took mine out the first time. Just put cartridges in it and began shooting. I don't use the moon clips; to me they're more trouble than they're worth. I don't do any speed shooting, don't carry.

You're going to like it. Mine was wonderfully accurate out of the box, better than me.
