629-1 with N serial number

I just picked up a 629-1 6 inch(5 and 7/8s front of cylinder to muzzle) with N 909797 serial number in the yoke and on the bottom of the grip frame. It also has a triangle with an R in the center as well as a circle with a z in the center of it, also on the grip frame, right side. Was wondering about approximate ship date and what the Triangle and circle meant. It is not P&R. Thanks for any help you can give.

The N 900000 serial number block went from 1982 to '86, so a wild guess would be either 1982 or '83. The stampings on the grip frame are assembler's, fitter's or inspector's marks. A series of digits there is usually an assembly number and can be found elsewhere on the major parts, like the yoke arm. Hope this is helpful.
