629 Classic question

Well today the LGS got in a 629-4 Classic, triple alpa CBB. It's ported on the top of the barrel in front of blade. Its 6 or 6.5"
Question is, are all the 629 Classic factory ported performance center models or did they port 629 classics standard? It's very mint but obviously pre owned and the price is $900. Id assume the ported barrel, if performance center is worth more typically?

I’m definitely no expert, just a fan of 629’s
Not all the-4’s classics are ported, what you probably found is a power ported classic.
It’s 6 1/2” barrel and those that are lucky enough to have one usually keep them, its not one you see every day. They are known to be very accurate and smooth easy shooting guns.
900 is a great price for one that’s in good condition. I’m not sure if the PC offered one, mine is not. It should look something like this.
I’m pretty sure some of our members have an advertising sheet for this model that may get posted if they stop in. Hope this helps.

For $900 I'd be on that like a rat on a Cheetoh. Not a PC offering but a great balanced and accurate gun. Mine has taken many a 100 yard ram in silhouette competition.
