Not a big fan of stickers announcing "Gun Inside" of an unattended vehicle in the big city where I live. "MOLON LABE" indeed.
... but I will post pics of the polished 28-2 highest patrolman soon enough.
I has been requested.
I have a new looking 28-2. Original finish. Locks up super tight.
A1 condish.
I like them both.
The polished one has an incorrect top strap on it.
Someone was trying to turn a 28 into a 27, but I like it.
I'm one of those crazy guys who keeps a firearm in his vehicle at all times. Vehicle break-ins aren't really a thing where I am ...
On "See No Evil" Season 13 Episode 2 - The Wrong Look.
In Dallas, Texas; an unarmed Security Guard thought the man in the Mercedes Benz SUV disrespected him. The man parked so the Guard checked the door and it was unlocked so the Guard decided to loot the vehicle. Guard finds Glock 9mm in the console and decides to wait for the man. Guard shoots the driver in the head as he drives out of the Parking Lot.
By strange coincidence, my vehicle has been searched by security guards on multiple occasions. They haven't found it yet.![]()
Do you keep it stuck inside the rim of the spare tire?
Care to explain what you mean there? The top strap on a revolver is part of the frame. You can't swap them around. Do you mean the sight tang? If you have a checkered one, it's still a long way from looking like a M27, you'd have to checker the top strap and the barrel rib too.
I always considered a truck gun as any you don't care about the appearance of, as long as it works when you need it. Only gun I own that would qualify is a Stevens Model 97 .410 shotgun. Skint-up painted stock, scratched up barrel with most of the bluing gone, but it is hell on varmints.
