629 PC Back From S&W. +1 For Customer Service

I recently picked up a new 629PC, and while cleaning it, noticed a problem with the rifling. The rifling along the bottom part of the barrel looked shallow, and almost non-existant. S&W had me send it back and they agreed there was a problem. They replaced the barrel, and also replaced the grips, sending it back with a set much prettier than the ones that came on it. Yes I was dissapointed this gun made it out of the factory to begin with, but I'm glad they can admit a mistake and make it right.

Nice! They certainly picked you out an impressive set of grips and it's great that they made good on the barrel.

Good to hear. I've got a 28 at S&W now. Very anxious to get it back.
That blaster you got there sure looks like it'd be a handfull w/ mag loads. But I bet that's why you got it.
