Hello all. I am 6'2" 295 and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a good shoulder holster for me. Any help would be appreciated as it seems difficult to find good, comfortable holsters for big guys. Thank you!

645 Shoulder Holster for a Big Guy

I'm 6' 0" 240, and a vertical (open front) shoulder holster, like the Bianchi X-15 worked best for me for carrying a large frame pistol or N- Frame revolver.
I think Galco now has one of the best setups out there where you can offset the weight of the gun with a double mag carrier on the opposite side harness... basically a "Miami Classic" with the holster oriented vertically instead of horizontally.

I find the Galco Miami Classic to be more comfortable than the Bianchi X-16. The Galco harness straps pivot at the spider attachment whereas the Bianchi is riveted tight and does not allow the straps to pivot. The good news is that you can order the Galco spider harness in an extra large size and fit it to the Bianchi holster and mag carrier. Its a hybrid that works perfectly for my 4006.
