I finally have my Roy's J frame 4" holster housing it's intended firearm. I purchased this 651-1 used Mint 4 inch barreled 22 MRF for $740 (without box) and pulled my Roy's holster out of moth balls (big moths) and purchased these factory original banana grips for $58. It has an action polishing job that makes the SA trigger wonderfully soft and the DA trigger smooth and easy. No recoil or muzzle jump. It has become my trail gun with 2 snake loads and 4 50 grain hp slugs. I have 14 speed loaders for 22 mag and carry a double speed loader pouch with replacement trail loads and an old Safariland ammo belt pouch that carries 150 22 mag rounds.

I forgot to mention

My 651-1 is paired with my Ruger Percision 22 mag rifle silenced and my 22 mag Browning lever action 22 mag. I have combos in 22 lr (Ruger backpacker and pks22, S&W Compact 22 all silenced) and in 9mm (S&W FPC & Ruger Security 9 and p365s all threaded except for the Ruger waiting for my Silencerco Omega 36M)

That's an interesting Roy Baker pancake holster. I have over 20 of them and have never seen one with a retention strap like that. Mine are either open top or thumb break.

It is an original and the holster is unaltered

However, I did have to replace the factory safety strap due to damage over the last 50+ years. The stamping on the holster is not touched and the holster did not have the thumb strap. It is curious but original.
