I have been looking at a model 66-1 recessed cyl, no pinned barrel recently.I know that it is a transition model, because the -1 should have a pinned barrel. my question is,does that take away from the value or add to it.If it adds value I might buy it just for giggles, if not it does not matter, I already have four of them. What do you think?

I would agree with Chop. Only if I was collecting all possible variants of model 66 would I pay more for a recessed/not pinned gun of equal condition. JMHO
