Today I looked at an unfired since leaving the factory model 66-1 4”. Pinned and recessed, original target stocks, factory box and paper work . No tools.
It’s factory mint .
What would be a fair price for this ?
Thanks in advance

We really need pictures for any fair assessment. Is the seller advertising it as unfired since the factory?

How early a dash-1? Those started in 1977 and went to 1982. I gave $1250 for a 2-1/2" round butt M66-1 that dates to 1980 (76K33xx) that was ANIB back in 2020.The lack of tools would drop the value just a little bit since the package is truly incomplete, but I wouldn't fuss over it, they're easy to find. I would figure that gun is probably in the same range as mine, maybe a couple hundred more for the intervening years' inflationary increase.

I purchased it new for $1000 in 2015. Complete with tools and documents. I sold this 2.5" 66-1 new in box unfired for $1800 last year.

Agreed... I have a 66-1, 4-inch, made in 1979, in 98% condition with the box; I was offered $1000 for it and turned it down; of course, here on the left coast, prices are sometimes a bit higher. You can't go wrong....
