View attachment 375422Im looking to get some information on a 66-2 that I have currently that im gonna be parting with soon. Its a stainless 4 inch in fairly good condition just kinda curious what a ballpark price would be and it seems people are pretty knowledgeable in here. Gunbroker to me is OK but i can never seem to gauge anything correctly from there. Thanks in advance. No box or tools its just the gun.

Having the box (in good condition) and tools and paperwork can be important. More and better pictures would help. Former LEO carry gun?
All of that can help but I still wouldn't be qualified to suggest a value. Others here are more qualified for that.

If you are looking at GunBroker, it is best to do an "Advanced" search and look for Completed items. Perhaps you already do that. However, it not, it's good to start with that and then continue to pursue only those items that have actually sold (many of the completed items end without bids and are relisted, occasionally multiple times).
As for value, people hesitate to do that assessment without multiple, close-up pictures, along with other considerations such as timing, lock-up, push-off, etc. And then there is always some price variation, depending upon your geographic location. As a "ballpark," I would say $500 + or -, depending upon those factors mentioned above. Perhaps others will give you additional estimates of value.

Depends a lot on location. In my area (Ok.) If it were mine and assuming good condition and mechanics with no box and docs, I would price it at $700 and would sell for around $650 - $700. Box and docs add $100 and another $75 if a tool set. If you want a quick sale price it at $580 - $600.
Now remember, that is for my neck of the woods and prices can differ as much as 20% either way depending on location and even time of year. Gunbroker tends to reveal more of a "national average" so take those figures with a grain of salt. But it will also show changes in price averages over a few months. I have noticed that the average price for a Model 27 seems to have increased about $100 - $150 over the last couple of months and model 19s and 66s have followed suit proportionally. Again that's just my observation. Good luck on your sale.

Close up photos would help to determine pricing.
Ballpark, for a standard M 66-2 4" anywhere between $400.00 and $500.00. Remember the model 66's were the L.E equal of what the Glock is today.
