I haven't been able detemine the D.O.B. for my 66-5. The serial # is CDT44xx. I can find that pre-fix in the documentaion that I have. I'm pretty sure it's mid 1990's (66-5 came out about then). It has MIM parts (oh my), but a very good trigger job and is as smooth as butter.

I suspect it is very late 1990s; 1999 or even 2000. The CCU~CCZ I have seen are late 1998.

Of course with the three letter prefix, you can call S&W CS and get a more accurate date.
