Just took the 669 I bought to the range today. Lots of fun to shoot! Its a big step up from a Walther p22. I like the 22 but this thing sure has a lot more power. Any one else own one and can give me any advise on it?

Load, point at target in safe and legal environment, pull trigger, smile. Rinse, repeat lol.

Seriously, though, what kind of advice do you need?

Best advice I can give is "don't sell it", you'll be sorry you did. (Like me)

2nd best advice I can give is PICS, we like to see PICS lol

Congrats on a sweet shooter!

i have the 469 and its worked very well for me. because of the alloy frame i put a recoil buffer in with no problems.

+1 on this! I had one about 18 years ago - long since sold it off, but always wish I still had it. It was reliable, fun to shoot and actually compact enough to easily carry concealed. I even knew one guy at work who carried one on his ankle as a back up, and another one on his other ankle. Haven't seen him for years now, but makes me wonder how his ankles are doing:cool:

Found one at a local gun show about two years ago. She was dirty and worn, the cop who carried her didn't treat her right! So I took her home and gave her a bath in Hoppe's and a good scrubbing.
Took her to the range and she shined like a new penny! Routinely out shooting the black poly guns and even giving my SIG P226 a run for his money! She eats from both the twelve round mags and the fifteen rounders of her big brother the 5906/659.
Avoid +P+ like the plague, she'll eat +P but not on a regular basis, she adores 147gr. Ranger T loads and standard 115-124gr ball rounds for practice.
Like most small gals, she's tougher than she looks and she'll do to ride the river with! Dale

Thanks for all the good feedback guys. My brother had his 9 mm glock at the range at the same time I was there. I let him shoot the smith and told him thats what a real gun feels like. I must say after a good cleaning it look good except for a couple scratches. I already ordered 3 more mags for it. After shooting a little 22 it feels like a cannon to me.

I think the P22 will always be my favorite plinker. Just fitted mine with an A2 flash hider, just for fun.
Just traded for a 469 couple of days ago. Owned one 25 years ago and like others say was very sorry I sold it. Only shot about 20 test rounds so far. This one will stay with me.
