hey all.
just bought a used and pristine condition 686-2. i'm wondering if there is a .357 load that would be considered "too hot" to use since this is an older model 686. i know it's a tough gun, but i want to keep it in good condition for the long haul. i plan on using winchester pdx1 130 gr 38 special +p for home defense, but am open to using magnums and specials at the range. your thoughts?

Any factory ammo is fine. Now if you handload your rounds so hot that they flatten the primers -- that's a different story.
