686-6 Plus chamber not firing

Forgive me if not using correct nomenclature , I marked the chamber and the same one of seven is not firing. The Range Gunsmith checked the Gap and all ok , turned the IL slightly and fired all rounds . Did it again today after firing 13 rounds this is first S&W revolver I've had trouble with .

Make sure the strain screw on the front of the grip frame is tight, it is likely the gun is right on the edge of mis-firing all the way around. That charge hole possibly has a slight bit more headspace, but not enough to cause mis-fires if the hammer strikes heavily enough.

686 returned today work order listed timing issues. I assume its been repaired the unfired chamber has burn ring will test it out this weekend. I'm ready to shine it up and put Kim Ahrends grips on .

686 performed great and after hitting all over couple targets got a decent group PMC .38SPL 132 GR.
