Very nice. Guessing you have the letter and maybe also the invoice. Here is mine with a lower number that shipped later. Common occurrence for the 44 Magnums. Also with the letter and the invoice and the serial number list.

Good looking 4"! I did get a copy of the invoice but not the serial number list. The serial numbers on these early 44's are all over the place. I have another over 4800 higher serial number that shipped in April of '56 so you need to check!

I was born in SEP 1954, and have lived an hour away from Tampa since 1969. In the early 90's, I shot some NRA Bullseye pistol matches at the old TPD range in Oldsmar.
