6906 Holster Recommendations - All types

This is an attempt at consolidation. I've done several searches on different days of this forum and found great info scattered all over the place and hidden in other threads. (Then I go back and can't find what I've already looked at - )

Please reply with any 6906 holster recommendations and your experience. Please reply with any specific manufacturers/models; square trigger guard/round compatibility; or any holsters for different handguns that would be compatible with the 6906.

Include Shoulder; OWB; IWB, etc.

Thanks in advance for creating this in one thread/place.

I have a Galco YAQ228 Yaqui slide that fits my square trigger guard 5906 &6904.

I have a 469 w/square trigger guard. As far as I know if it's made for square, the round will fit.

Crossbreed Supertuck IWB (mine is for square trigger guard, can be had either way). Outstanding ccw holster.

Bianchi 3S Pistol Pocket IWB - nice holster but didn't work for me

Don Hume H738 (I think) Duty Holster belt holster - fantastic owb non-concealment holster. Fits my square trigger guard perfectly.

I just picked up a very nice OWB KL Null "Gilbrator Speed Scabbard" for a square trigger 69xx from one of the popular auction sites. My second of his work, the first being the same holster for a J frame revolver, I've become a huge fan of Mr. Null's work.

There are some really good choices out there - just have to be vigilant for some of the older iterations.

Check out LOBO Gun leather. I have an OWB pancake and an offset clip IWB from them for my ex-leo round trigger guard 6906.

Wright Leather Works makes their entire holster line for the 6906. I have two of their "Predators" and have never seen better quality or workmanship. I have worn mine for about 3 years and the fit and retention are still spot on.

Adding to my own original inquiry

Originally started this thread as I was searching for a leather shoulder rig for my square trigger guard 6906.

Went to a Phoenix, AZ gun show today - 1/21/17. Found a used Galco rig (excellent condition) with a sticker labeled "Sig P226." Slipped my 6906 into the holster and it fit very well - well enough for me to walk away with it. ($125.00)

Holster component was stamped "248."
2 Magazine component was stamped "SCL22."

Excellent compatibility with my early 6906 with square trigger guard.
Also perfect fit for my S&W 5904 w/ square trigger guard.
