9mm M&P Shield EZ very hard to rack

If it were me, I'd disassemble, clean, lubricate and put it back together. Then function check it. Maybe put some rounds through it as well if the function check is good, any question I'd contact S&W.
Ditto. Clean and lube. See if the problem is something obvious, but EZs should NOT be tough to rack out of the box o I think it will be going back to the mother ship.
