S&W please consider making a semi-auto pistol and revolver in the 9x23mm Winchester cartridge. This is a brilliant round that basically utilizes a shortened .223 Remington case, which is a very strong case for pistol and revolver work. Your 1911 frame pistol should work well for the pistol and an N-frame would be perfect for the revolver (utilizing moon clips of course). Build them and they will come (CUSTOMERS OF COURSE!!!)

A revolver might be more practical than an auto. Can't recall the last time I saw a box of 9X23 and it would be nicer to pull my brass off a moon clip than root around through the grass for it.

9x23 Winchester N-frame Revolver

Auto's do make it hard to find your brass, so I think you make a valid point. So S&W I wish you would make a six, seven, or eight shot (moon clip compatible) N-frame revolver for the snappy 9x23 Winchester round, with 4", 5", and 6" tapered barrels.

p.s., also please look into chambering this round into either your 1911 frame pistols or your M&P frame pistols or both, you won't be sorry!!!
