A beautiful H&R Premier

A good forum friend gave me the chance to give this beauty a new home.

This is the nicest H&R I've ever seen - a little time capsule from the early days of the 20th century. Its the Premier, a 7 shot .22 caliber.

Congratulations. Nice top break H&R.

I know folks poo poo on H&R, and I'll admit that they turned out a gazillion low dollar (even for the time) stinkers, but their higher end models, to me, show a very nice degree of fit, finish, and craftsmanship. It's not easy to turn out ribbed one piece barrels, or non standard shapes.

Anyway...I like your Premier. Thanks for sharing it.

My remaining H&R is a Trapdoor Calvary Model from the 70s. It is beautifully finished, accurate, and just one action screw different from the originals.
