For some time now, I have been posting once or twice a year that I wanted to buy a 5906M Modelo Militar. These 5906 variants are pretty rare and very hard to come by. Then out of the clear blue sky I was contacted by forum member Bad_Man_One with a lead on one. I contacted the gun shop and got the deal done. This week I received the gun and it was absolutely NIB as promised. I am very grateful to B_M_O for taking the time to give the the lead.

As a side note, the gunshop was The Ocala Armory in Florida. They were great to deal with. Not only was the gun reasonably priced, but they only charged me $20 to ship it to my dealer here in CT!! A real class operation.

I am a happy guy with another unique 3rd gen pistol in the safe.

Your very welcome, Great catch,
I had recalled that you were once looking for the 5906M and I thought that this might fit the bill.
All I did was "Googled" Modelo Militar and that one popped up.

BM1... Is this basically the same gun as the 5904 (alloy)?...
CDNN sells the 5906 (stainless) NIB for $399+ (got one awhile back and love it!!)...
Wondering if you ever see an '04 NIB (black), would love to get one.

It looks to me like it might be a melonite/St.St. 5906.

SHOT???? Not this one. It will remain a safe queen. But if I find a used one, I intend to fire it up!
