We've had a very pretty Calico cat wandering around the yard where I work....been visiting for over a week. She's looking a bit plump so we figured she's looking for a place to present the world a litter of kittens. I work for a small oil distributor and, frankly, the yard is a mess....old trucks, fuel tanks, pallets, empty drums etc....lots of places for her to hide. My co-worker Carol (works in our office) offered to bring in a Rubbermade tub and food etc. The cat was nowhere to be seen this morning when I got there. I set up the shelter under a heavy truck that has been out of service for many years. I filled a bowl of water and another with food. I went inside to tell Carol where the shelter was then went back out to my truck to leave for delivery. I took a quick peek at the shelter and she was already in it but ran when she saw me! Around mid day I asked Carol if she saw the cat...yes, but it ran from her also. About 3:00 or so I get a text with the picture....she's sleeping like a baby in her new home. I filled her bowls for the weekend before I left for home. Meet Felina!

There are 2 more. besides these. All were dropped off as kittens as we are on a dead end road. All have been spayed & neutered. There are no more rats, or mice in barns or out buildings. They earn their keep. Grey Tabby is a Maine Coon Cat weighs about 30 lbs +

Check around and you will probably find a person who feeds and befriends feral cats. That person will probably know a Vet who spays and neuters feral cats at a discount. If so, take Felina and her new family to see him when they arrive. The kittens will be easy to adopt out. Since Felina is a calico she may be also. At any rate, thank you for what you are doing.

My work cats Mutt and Jeff.

I've been feeding them for a year. They live under a bus in the back of the lot where I work. I had to work during the "Bomb Cyclone" blizzard and I threw a blanket in the back of my car in case I got stuck. They showed up looking miserable so I let them in the car.

I didn't think they'd go for it but they did and they've been sleeping there since. I put an old fleece on an Army blanket and that's their bed and they know it's their bed.

I'd bring them home if I could but we're only allowed 2 animals.

My Wife Is Going To Beat My ***

So at some point last night somebody drove by where I work and threw and intact juvenile male purebred Siamese cat out of their car.

It is absolutely shell shocked and I'm absolutely positive it is not going to last the they so I'm taking it home
